Stay Aware of Your Healthy Choices

Have you ever stopped to think about just how many different things there are to consider when it comes to your health and wellness. Your own personal path of wellness can, on any given day, cause you to think about (or worry about) how much you've exercised, what you ate yesterday or will eat today, how to sleep enough, love enough or even unwind enough.

It can easily all get overwhelming (Our diet questions, alone, probably take up more than half of those thoughts). UGH!

In the most recent series of videos I spoke about keeping your core strong, back stable and movements healthy. But another common theme has been the idea of staying aware of what you're doing. Staying aware of your muscles and movements and when you lose sight of, for example, good posture you should always just come right back to it. This practice of "coming back" eventually brings you to a point where you rarely lose sight of what you were "coming back" to because it's eventually always there.

It's got a lot to do with the process of replacing old habits with new ones. In order to accomplish that you have to stay aware of, and practice, the new behavior just like you are now practicing core activation (hopefully) good posture (also hopefully) and healthy movements (very hopefully)

And this is how you can manage those many other aspects of your health. Not by paying attention to all them at once, of course, but by picking one health objective at a time, staying aware of it and coming back to it for as long as it takes to become a consistent, new behavior.

The 3-minute video below describes this in much more detail and can definitely keep you moving smarter and living stronger down your own personal path of wellness.

As always, if you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to let me know via email, FB or in the comments below.
